Excitedly, on August 17th this year, we will be holding our first Palm Beach State School fete in over five years. The fete was initiated, and since organised, by a group of dedicated parent volunteers and P&C members to provide an opportunity for our students and school community to get together and enjoy a special day out, and raise funds along the way. On the day of the fete we’re all looking forward to enjoying a fantastic day with the many planned and varied activities, rides and stalls.
Thoughtfully, the Fete committee have organised stalls to keep parent contributions as fuss free as possible. Each year level will be assigned a stall and parents will be asked to contribute by sending in items to support it. This will be clearly communicated to you and may be as simple as a bag of lollies, a plant in a pot or a bar of chocolate. To make this day as successful a possible your support in this will be very much appreciated.
The funds from the day will be used to complete our new Uniform Shop, which includes extensive storage and dressing rooms. This room will be a multi-purpose room as it will also provide facilities for the P&C to use as a base for organising all of its fundraising events.
We look forward to seeing you all on the day!
